Digital assets created for the 2020 HBO drama from acclaimed Spanish horror director, Álex de la Iglesia. Working with the Multicultural Marketing team who established a partnership with DC comic book artist Jorge Jiménez, we used social and web platforms to showcase his bespoke illustrations for the show.
Instagram Story
Instagram story for the official HBO account was posted to drive to the page. I created the storyboard, then handed off to an animator to bring to life. We wanted to feature the art without showing the whole page, so I used comic book panel angles as inspiration.
Banner
The 30 Coins series landing page needed to drive to the separate gallery page, so I made a feature banner. Keeping in theme with the Instagram story, comic book panel shapes were used as the inspiration and a way to tease the art.
